Flower World is looking for an enthusiastic and team oriented person to lead our shipping and receiving area.
Our Shipping and Receiving manager will be responsible for coordinating plant deliveries, including delivering to the local area, receiving shipments, and distribution to various nursery departments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience driving both a standard and extended freightliner style box truck.
Attention to detail to insure the right items are delivered to the right customer every time.
Oversight to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
Controlling costs associated with supplies and shipping.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Quickly adapting and implementing computer based navigation and logistical programs.
