Why Flower World for Indoor Plants?

We have been growing tropical foliage plants for over 50 years, and we have seen a lot of changes affecting the indoor plant market. With the outbreak of Covid 19, the demand for indoor plants increased substantially, and because of a lack of local supply, people started shopping for plants online. Since then, we have seen advertising gimmicks, by inexperienced growers, that manipulate the market to artificially increase prices. New varieties began showing up, at exorbitant prices, regardless of the cost of production…a real rip off. Another way online growers are taking advantage of consumers is by using AI produced pictures of wildly colored “new” plants that do not even exist. This is a scam. Beware of shipping costs. Often the cost for shipping exceeds the value of the plant by as much as three times the price of the plant.

As a result, many wholesale growers are now using these inflated prices to set their own pricing models too. This means unless you are buying your indoor foliage at Flower World you are paying too much. Often for unproven varieties, and in other cases, old varieties that have seen a resurgence in popularity. Typically, box stores truck plants up from Florida or California, adding 20% or more, to the price that you pay...
for the same locally grown plants.

Our Flower World indoor plants are grown right here. We use stock plants, reserved for future production, rather than shipping in from out of state sources. This means higher quality plants that save you money. Looking for something rare or unique? We grow those too. Our customers can shop a special greenhouse section dedicated to hard-to-find plants -
usually priced 50% less than other nurseries, online, or box stores.
