We are always looking for dedicated and experienced greenhouse/nursery employees as well as for entry level applicants who are enthusiastic and have a love of plants and a desire to be trained in a fast paced, varied and physical work environment.
Taking applications for:
- Production Grower for nursery stock as well as annual and
perennial production areas. This is a very challenging position with
career opportunities. Duties include planning and overseeing the
production, maintenance of the stock such as pruning and repotting and
pulling the merchandise ready for sale. We are looking for persons who
are self motivated, are experienced in managing crews, have nursery and
management experience, horticultural degree or certificate, and a
positive attitude. Excellent salary, DOE, plus benefits.
- Cashiers and Customer Service. Several full time and part
time positions are opening in late February. Part time positions with
flexible hours including weekends and late shifts. Full time positions
may include one weekend day. Cashier experience and some plant knowledge
will be helpful. Will train. Wages start at $ 9.00 per hour or DOE.
- Front End Managers: Will be needing experienced front end
managers to help us manage the front end of our Retail Garden Center
checkout. Are looking for persons with excellent customer service and
employee relations. Needs to be energetic and have an eye for detail.
Includes hiring and scheduling of FT and PT cashiers and loaders.
Responsible for keeping an eye on restocking inventory and front end
displays. Plant knowledge very helpful but not absolutely necessary.
These positions will include at least one weekend day. Excellent wages,
DOE, and benefits.
- Integrated Pest/Fertilization Manager. Looking for a person
to apply IPM practices and to coordinate all fertilizer and pesticide
programs and applications. To be able to research new methods, to
maintain precise records and to work with and train other applicators.
Our operation covers approximately 200 acres with container and field
production of ornamentals, greenhouse crops of bedding plants and
flowering ornamentals, greenhouse and field production of fruits and
vegetables. Experience required. Full time position with starting wage
of $ 17 per hour or DOE. Excellent benefits available.
- Loaders and Customer Support. Lending a helping hand with
preparing and loading plants and shrubs. A physical job with some heavy
lifting. Needs to be energetic with a pleasant disposition. We are
looking to fill several FT and PT positions for the spring and summer
with flexible hours including weekends. Will train. Wages start at $
9.00 per hour.
- Retail Plant Sales personnel for stocking, maintaining, and the display of merchandise in one of the several specific plant departments. Our retail complex covers a large area and consists out of five main departments: perennials, annuals, hedge nursery stock, fruit and flowering trees, groundcover, and herbs. Retail experience as well as customer service a plus. Plant knowledge required. Several full time and part time position need to be filled. Wages starting at $ 9.00 and up/DOE.
